WORK

2021: Reality of Life

Graduated—truly God’s grace! Landed a summer role at RBC, a permanent one at Geotab and working part-time at a non-for profit. Knowing where i was is certainly not my permanent destination but grateful and embracing the reality that I can truly do anything with my life....MAD

2022: Breaking Ground

Anxious about how long it was taking to reach my goals, but determined to keep going, I dove into community and tech entrepreneurship, networking extensively. I lacked clarity or intention at first, but it was exciting, and I was learning so much that I kept pushing forward, believing something great would come of it. By the end of the year i started a job at Bell Canada. Still not the final destination but a step forward so i was grateful.

2023: Just Do It

There was an itch to do more—beyond just working somewhere. I started questioning what I truly wanted and reevaluating things I thought I always liked or desired. I lost passion for my job and felt a deep urge to create something meaningful. This time, it felt real—I could just start and see where it led. So I did, and Owambe Technologies Inc was born.

2024: Expansion

This year brought the reality of adulthood—the duality of things not going as planned but also going great. Faith was my anchor, and 'all things work for my good' became my motto. I learned so much about life, people, and myself. Owambe grew, solidifying my desire to create, and I accepted that maybe I don’t want the life I once envisioned. I want better and more aligned with me and who God made me.
